LO.2 Screen shots
For this section I recorded my own sound using a H2 zoom system.
This shows the first sound I placed in, when doing this I cut out sections of the sound for it to fit the actions of the video.
For this one I repeated the same sound over to create a zooming effect
This is what the production looked like when i had timecoded the production but had not yet edited it.
This shows what you have top do before you can start to edit your sound on cubase, firstly you must change your video player to quicktime and your VST audio system to generic low latency or M audio delta.
This is the VST audio chanel setting this allows you to change the tempo or/and pitch of the clip.
Another way to edit your production is to go Audio-Process-and chose which effect you wnt to use

Soundtrack for Advertisement
This advert is for a healthy breakfast cereal for kids to start there day. Or even to have as a snack. My advert is linked with the Olympics and furthermore is fun and active. Lots of sport: trampolining, skate boarding , BMX, rugby, football. Understandably for this advert music should be fun and outgoing.
The style of music
I want the music to be layered and show a good range of high notes and upbeat tunes. I want it to be catchy so therefore they will remember the cereal. I also want the voice over to be clear to what danger mouse is saying. Danger mouse has a very clear understanding tone to his voice and is calm under all situations. Due to this I would like the kids to be a bit more excited.
In the first clip I want a build up just like the Olympics build up.
To also show you the style and management I am looking for I have embedded some youtube clips of standards that I am looking at.

Evaluation of soundtrack
The sound I created for my clients advert for danger mouse cereal was effective as it was fun and child friendly. When I received my brief from my client she asked for it to be catchy, child friendly and sporty. I used these three categories and tried to create a child friendly bubble energetic sporty catchy soundtrack for the moving image. I used a H2 Zoom, voiceover and MIDI tracks to create the soundtrack from scratch. The soundtrack worked well with the video as it was time coded so that the voiceover was matching the voices on the screen; I used effects to make the tempo and the frequency of the voices higher and lower.
When I asked my client if she was happy with what I had created for her she replied to me via email, the email read;
Dear Sophie
I have looked at the final video you have sent me, I am very happy with the work you have created and would be happy to use this as a television production to advertise my product.
However, I do think a couple of things could be change.
I think that when ‘danger mouse’ is speaking he could extend his speech but mention the key words such as “be active” etc.
The backing track is good however could be louder as it is overpowered by other aspects of the advert.
Thank you for completing this task for me
Kind regards
Hayley McCarthy
After reading this I thought about what was said and changed the errors that were made and resent her a copy this was now my final copy. My client was a lot happier with this production.
