Dangermouse advert with sound draft

Evaluation of soundtrack

The sound I created for my clients advert for danger mouse cereal was effective as it was fun and child friendly. When I received my brief from my client she asked for it to be catchy, child friendly and sporty. I used these three categories and tried to create a child friendly bubble energetic sporty catchy soundtrack for the moving image. I used a H2 Zoom, voiceover and MIDI tracks to create the soundtrack from scratch.  The soundtrack worked well with the video as it was time coded so that the voiceover was matching the voices on the screen; I used effects to make the tempo and the frequency of the voices higher and lower.
When I asked my client if she was happy with what I had created for her she replied to me via email, the email read;
Dear Sophie

I have looked at the final video you have sent me, I am very happy with the work you have created and would be happy to use this as a television production to advertise my product.
However, I do think a couple of things could be change.
I think that when ‘danger mouse’ is speaking he could extend his speech but mention the key words such as “be active” etc.
The backing track is good however could be louder as it is overpowered by other aspects of the advert.
Thank you for completing this task for me
Kind regards
Hayley McCarthy

After reading this I thought about what was said and changed the errors that were made and resent her a copy this was now my final copy. My client was a lot happier with this production.
